Welcome to Stickman Land!
You know, this might come off as pedantic, but I treat “family-friendly” and “kid-friendly” as entirely different terms.
In the case of “kid-friendly”, at least we know the kids are okay– but there are no guarantees for the rest of us. It could be uninteresting at best, and mindless, vapid nonsense at worst.
But “family-friendly”… well, I would really just call it “everyone-friendly” if it rolled off the tongue. That’s what I’m talkin’ about! Those genuine, honest-to-goodness artistic works, made with love and filled with substance, and presented in a way truly anyone can enjoy.
The world can’t get enough family-friendly. And I thought I might try writing some for fun. Hello! I’m MisshapenSmiley. Welcome to The Stickman Pictures!
About the Stickmen
Stickman Land is a fantastic place for a wild and wacky adventure, whether you’re on vacation or picking up laundry. This is great for Tristan Brake, the all-around upbeat good guy! But not so much for his brother Steven, who is an accountant.
Steven just wants to be an upstanding member of society, but it feels like everything is setting out to undo his hard work. He’s a financially responsible man with a consistent, well-paying job– so why can’t he stop losing money? Whatever it might be, Tristan and Steven will take it on together.
About the Publication
Every week on Saturday, I plan to post one thing. The Stories section will detail the lives of Tristan and Steven Brake in episodic format. Along with the chaptered short stories, there’ll also be a few one-offs.
As it happens, Tristan is only about 0.00000001% of Stickpeople. In the Comics section, there’ll be funny anecdotes from the lives of everyone else!
